Experience
I attended Rutgers University, where I received a B.S. in Public Health. I then enrolled in the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and earned a master's degree in Biomedical Science. It is my ambition to enter medical school this fall. Upon completing my undergraduate degree, I worked as a volunteer for a high school after school program. This was the first time I worked in academia. Through my experience of tutoring, mentoring, and assisting students, I have developed the skills needed to become an excellent tutor. I also worked at a college prep program, where I helped students of all ages prepare for higher education.I teach a range of classes in science and mathematics, including elementary and middle school math, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, physics, biology, and chemistry. As a teacher, I aim to work with my students and let them learn at their own pace. Rather than requiring exercises and drills, I hope to give my students a better grasp on the subject.
